Be immersed in the rugged beauty of our Northern bushland, from the luxury and comfort of our ground level cabin. Whether you need to unwind in peace and quiet, connect with nature, or simply relax and enjoy the modern, unique vibes of shipping container living - this place is what you make it!​ It also makes the perfect space to come home to after exploring Litchfield's waterfalls and attractions.

This cabin is set on it's own, with a short walk to the other Cabins and the owners' residence.​ Cabin One consists of a converted 40 foot container into a ground level living space. It includes a lounge and fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with floor to ceiling windows, a spacious luxurious ensuite, and an open deck joining both rooms for your outdoor relaxing and dining. Our three cabins are 70m to 100m apart, which means  up to three families can rent the cabins with solar path lighting between.

For the extra guest or children we provide a floor mattress and bedding on request.

We have  recently added outdoor Bush Tubs to each cabin. A great way to cool off and appreciate a beautiful starry night with your loved ones.

We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the cabins. Our door is open, should you have any questions about your accomodation or the local area.

We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are two cafes, one at Wangi Falls and our own onsite cafe, Kin Coffee Goods & Gallery. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

You'll find in your fridge some bacon, eggs, and a few treats to welcome you to Hideaway. Our cabins are solar powered during the day and (quiet) generator at night. Both rooms in your cabin can be air conditioned. This makes it a wonderful place in our often unbearable build up season, unless sitting in one of our newly added outdoor Tubs or  nearby rock pools or under a waterfall of course!

Children are welcome! We can make space on the floor, provide mattresses, bedding and a cot. Children 5 and over will be $35 per night extra. We can also accommodate a third adult at $35 per night extra. If there are two extra adults you would need to consider booking out an additional cabin.
